Greetings! You have landed at the blog of Sarah Cuadra–bookseller, children’s boutique owner, educator, wife, mother, and friend.

Sarah owns The Storybook Garden, a children’s bookshop & clothing boutique located at the historic Villa de Cortez in Weslaco, Texas,  which she opened in July 2001.

Sarah went into teaching two years after opening her business.  She teaches the gifted & talented and is the dyslexia specialist at a local elementary school.  Sarah tends to the shop everyday after school and on the weekend.
