Find Waldo in Weslaco!

Hello friends! We hope you and yours are having a wonderful summer! We’ve been awfully busy freshening up the store with new goodies as well as the workshop area in the back. If you haven’t been by the shop or downtown Weslaco, now is the perfect time to visit us! We are hosting a Where’s Waldo-Shop Local Campaign through July 31st.

Waldo is turning 25 this year and to celebrate, the famous fellow in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting 20 local businesses–those who spot him can win prizes, including buttons, books, and more. Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a “Find Waldo in Weslaco” search list with the names of all the businesses, and collect an “I found Waldo at ____” card for each Waldo they spot.

Collecting cards at 16 or more businesses and turning them in at our shop will win a Waldo button and an entry for other, larger prizes to be drawn at a Waldo party on July 31st. The grand prize is a complete six-volume set of Waldo books. People who prefer a shorter version of the hunt can collect the cards from eight businesses and pick up a Waldo button at The Storybook Garden.
